Named after the year of her birth – Amantine-Lucile-Aurore Dudevant was to become renowned through her androgynous pseudonym, her pen name, George Sand. The French romantic writer of epic proportions, a great lover and a devoted novelist, she was the epitome of the first modern woman. This perfume reflects her generosity and sensuality, with warming Amber, tropical fruity tones, and a floral twist. 1804 is a rich and spicy pineapple, this rich and tropical scent transports you to a tropical paradise with a twist. This Amber flower bouquet represents George Sand’s bond uniting her with nature and perhaps whisking you away in a moment to somewhere tropical and far away just like one of her novels would.

HOW IT WEARS
This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum and the longevity with Histories de Parfums is generally about 6 – 8 hours, however we really get around 8 hours with this particular scent. The Pineapple is in the initial burst quite strongly, but give it some time and it settles down. The scent remains fruity and sweet with rich and decadent earthy tones creating depth.
