A clean, crisp scent with citrus notes, (New Study) Postcards is inspired by the island getaway Miller and Bertaux spent time at as artists in residence, writing and imagining new scents.
Warm shades of yellow summer light are translated into this scent, evocative of a peaceful island afternoon, the calm allowing creative juices to flow. A sentimental exploration of an island paradise, of a bohemian existence in the most picturesque of places. “Like the contemplation of the sea and the sunset, seen from the terrace of a café”.

HOW IT WEARS
We get a beautiful fusion of the sweet creaminess of fig and coconut, plus the added crispness of the citrus and green notes. The fig is still the star in this scent and lasts beautifully on the skin. We get between 6 to 8 hours wear with New Study; it starts out as a refreshing burst with the citrus notes then gets softer, creamier and more intimate with time.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Miller met Bertaux in Paris, 1985. Both frequent travellers and natural-born creatives, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux became partners in life and business, setting down their suitcases in Paris’s Marais fashion district. They opened a boutique; showcasing their clothing, creations, and treasures brought back from their travels.
Their wanderlust next led them into the world of fragrance, and they began to create scents inspired by their lives and travels. An armful of flowers placed on the ground at a French market… a rose in the ear of a man from the Far East… the incense of a Mexican church… moments, stories, and images like these were transformed by Miller and Bertaux into fragrances wearable by anyone, anywhere.
