Rougewood is an ode to the colour of passion – red! In this fragrance, red fruits and caramel embrace ambery woods in a delicious potent cocktail.

For this fragrace, Maison Rebatchi founder Mohamed worked with nose Emma Doghri to create something totally new – an olfactory translation of colour!

In making Rougewood, Emma played with gourmand notes, fruits and caramel facets, and used ambroxan to amplify them. The result is a vivid and intense yet warm and enveloping fragrance.

HOW IT WEARS
Rougewood opens bright with vibrant, juicy pomelo before developing to reveal sweet blackcurrant and a delicate peach flower accord. As it dries down, the fragrance enrichens and the ambery woods and mouth-watering caramel notes really come into their own. While saffron isn’t listed in the notes for Rougewood, we definitely feel like we pick it up as well, which really adds to the warmth of the scent. This fragrance has incredible strength and sillage, lasting 6-8 hours on the skin!
