This Is Not A Blue Bottle 1/.1 EDP 60ml – Lore Perfumery

This is Not a Blue Collection Collection gets its name from the Treachery of Images, a famous artwork from the 1920s by the Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte. The painting shows the image of a pipe above a declaration, which reads, “This is not a pipe”. Histoires de Parfums takes inspiration from this art, and in this collection explores the line where things go from void to existence, there is a profound depth of possibility; and of course the infinite realm of blue.

This is Not a Blue Bottle 1/.1 was created as a hypnotic call for freedom and expression for all. This perfume doesn’t have a story; in fact the story begins when you let the perfume touch your skin. A perfume of abstraction and mystery; it plays on contrasts with a soft, warm earthy scents that smell seductive almost like skin, only better (think Musk, Amber, Honey) then sharp, almost metallic notes to cut through the feeling of familiarity (Citrus, Metallic Geranium).

HOW IT WEARS
This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum and the longevity with Histories de Parfums is generally about 6 – 8 hours, however we really get around 8 hours with this particular scent. After a couple hours the scent has a musky slightly aldehydic quality – kind of like skin but better. It is well balanced with the warmth and slight sweetness of the Amber and Honey gradually coming through. Light and bright, with depth.
